"Then because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, 'Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.' So they went away by themselves to a solitary place." Mark 6:31-32
Surrounded by solitude and yet close to many attractions, you will soon want to tell your friends and re-visit Solitude Pointe.
We are Rodney, Amy, Rebekah & Ryan Ross and Amy’s mom, Virginia Cawood. We purchased Solitude Pointe in 2005 and have enjoyed providing a place for families to vacation and groups to retreat in the beautiful mountains of Upstate South Carolina. Studies show that taking a vacation can reduce your chances of having a heart attack. Even with the economic issues that concern us, we cannot stop taking vacations. We all need a change of pace – for our own health, for our families and just for fun! For all of these reasons, our motto is appropriate: "At some Pointe, Everyone Needs Solitude!"
